The electricity ranking in speakers isn't simply how much they'll use, it can be the amount of they could endure without screwing up. In short, a ten watt speaker could endure ten watts of energy getting sent to it, more than that it'll distort or even burn up. The higher you take a speaker the harder power it uses. This is particularly accurate if you ever turn the bass up. If you ever turn the volume low it will save power.
